Someone has been using our number from 760-705-8888 and harassing us. How do we stop those abnoxious calls??

Nuisance calls, unwanted calls. Nothing was said, but keeps calling. Last night at 2 am. Want to block this.

Claiming to be from Bell Canada asking why I dropped them - I told him beacuse of phone calls like this.

A man called me with what it seemed to be an indian accent around 11:23 am and my caller id said it was from Escondido, CA from this number and told me I would win some promotional item but he needed to confirm some basic information and he stated my address and asked if it was correct...I then took precautions and said I was not old enough to authorize that information to him. He kept insisting that it was just basic information he needed like confirming my address and i kept repeating that i could not give him that information. He stated i was so nice but that it was just basic information and i think he asked for a credit card number. I said i cannot give you that information thank you have a great day and hung up. SCAM im sure!

This is the phone number that populates when people use Google Talk to call a cell phone or land line. The number itself insn't a scam, but the poeple using Google Talk may be.

Jealous wife using T-Mobile crank caller download to piss off mistress of her husband. They are getting divorced and not because of me. He's coming to me I don't go to him. He brought it to me.

The kept on calling and hanging up. I also called back, and they picked up, I asked who it was and they wouldn't say. They just kept saying "Why are you calling me?" so I said you called me and they said they didn't. But then I knew they were girls. Also, 760 is in California, Victorville. So help out, and block this number.

Just received a call three times, from this reported phone number.
I found it strange as it is 11:40 PM and the call came into my business phone, a large company that operates from 8 am - 5 pm. I am an IT guy working late. Second attempted call I answered curious as to who "Guy Google" (caller id) was and why at this hour. The voice had an accent but was very faint. I ended up hanging up unable to hear the caller. Third attempt, the number tried calling back but I was unable to answer in time. I decided to look up who this was, came across this site. Found this interesting so I figured I would post info that I found on the caller.

A man with an accent called, said my name, and said the same as below: my computer sends error messages to their server and that he needed access to my computer. As soon as I said that he needs to talk to my husband and asked his phone number, he hung up.

I just had this exact same phone call, he needed to access my computer... ya right. I asked his name and the name of his company and he hung up.

Man with Indian accent just called saying he was from the "internet management ...company." He said my computer was sending viruses through the network. He wanted me to sit at my computer and open some files, he was going to help me "fix" my computer.

Stated was my grandaughter, had her name correct and was leaving home. I said this is not my grandaughter for two reasons, she does not call me "grandpa" (its pop) and she is 7 years old! They quickly hung up.
