Caller said hi grandma, I said who is this. Caller said, you don't know your own grandson? I said who is this. Caller said it's Wes. I asked why didn't i have to go through all the screening. Where are you? He said I'm up north, so I asked what his address was and he hung up. My grandson in incarcerated so I have to accept any calls from him and the call comes up unknown number, unlike this one which was 760-705-8888. There have been a rash of breakins in the area and I was afraid it might be someone who knows me and knows my grandson and they were trying to see if we were home.

Received a call from this number today. Could hardly understand what language was being spoken. The person asked,"Are you Muslim?" or something similar, not clearly pronounced. I hung up.

I got a call from this # and I didn't answer it. They left a voice mail and I checked it out.
It was a friend calling from G-mail on his computer, he said that it didn't matter who called
from G-mail they all had the same #. So i signed up for free and called my cell and it was the same # that he called from. So if someone calles you from this # it prob was just a wrong # or your friend is trying to call you.

recieved a call five minutes ago that my computer was at risk from a virus. he spoke in an east indian accent and said he was from microsoft. he told me that my computer had about 6-7 hours left of operation..... obviously a scam.....

I just received 2 calls from this number allegedly stating they were from Bell Mobility letting me know my number was chosen to receive a new cell phone i told him i wasn't interested. Then he called back again 2 seconds later saying the same thing i told him that i just told him i wasn't interested and hung up,.

The people calling from this number claim to be calling from Dish Network.
I do not want the dish and probably will never get it because of this harrassment.

Got a phone call from this number saying my opperating system (windows) was sending error messages and he needed to fix it. I asked him if her was from HP , he replyed no. I asked him how he got my number and he wouldnt answer me. I told him to tell me or I would be calling the police. He sounded Nigerian and I told him I thought this was a scam and was reporting him.

I received a call on 1/25/11 about 1 PM. The voice was that of a young man who sounded in great distress, as if he'd been in an accident. When I said, "Who's this", he said "It's your grandson". I replied, "______", this doesn't sound like you at all. What's wrong"? He was very upset and said he was in jail, but was too ashamed and embarrassed to tell his parents. I asked why he was there and he said they told him he was charged with drug possession. I told him I would have to tell his parents, and he pleaded with me to get him out and let him tell them "face to face". I asked where he was and he told me he was in a jail in Haiti. My grandson lives nearby and is the last person in the world who be involved in drugs. He said he wanted me to talk to the Lt. in charge. When he came on the phone, he had a slight accent. He said nothing, so I asked him about the charges. He said that my grandson had gone to Haiti with a friend and they were both had drug charges. I told him I thought it was a scam and he asked my why I would think that. I answered that my grandson is either at college or at his job at this time. Also, the phone number on my Caller ID was a CA number. When I asked him to give me his number and I would call him back, he hung up. I'm sure they wanted me to send money somewhere to bail my grandson out of the "Haitian jail" :-(. I called my grandson right after the call, and he was on his way to school. Thank goodness I'd read about this scam before. Now I'll have to block the number to prevent any more harassing calls.

So this guy "frank" called and basically cussed me out saying that I called him late last night asked for my address. SInce its a 760 area code its from CA I live in Edmond OK I basically said I think you might of misdialed and went on a cussing ram page on me.. really really creepy guy.

this man somehow knew I just emailed someone about buying a puppy but i couldnt hear him. the call kept breaking up. he called back 4 times. he had a really thick accent too! who is this?

I've been receiving calls from 760-705-8888. I seriously have 5 straight missed calls because I didn't have my phone on me at the time. It's a California area code and I'm from Rhode Island so I have no idea who this is or what's going on!

This guy called me today, sometime in the morning. I got a voice mail. He knew my name, and said he was going to sexually engage my girlfriend, whose name he also knew. He was using a voice changer device, and called himself 'Anonymous'. Obviously from 4chan.org, and somebody posted my info on there, I assume. If this guy comes anywhere near me, I'm gonna give him something to think about. Something roughly fist-shaped.

Called and had our last name - was offering a 30% discount on our Hydro. Said he was calling from "Hydro company". When I asked where he got our information he said they had conducted a survey in our area. When I told him our Hydro was in the landlord's name he hung up. Not legitimate sounding at all. Have reported.

Called and didn't leave a message.
