This is the outgoing phone number for "Google's" free phone service, which is a part of Google Talk. The friend calling me was a local call, so I don't know why it displayed a California area code...

I believe the number displays when people call using the chat app in google mail. It is probably a random number assigned to such calls.

This caller calls and just hangs up my line and ties it all up. My telephone is for business. He wants no-one else call call my number so they use this number through Google as Google is in the United States and I am in Canada.

This number has called me over 100 times in the past two days. Whenever I answer, they don't talk. They just hang up and call again. The calling is non-stop.

Person stated he was my grandson and was in jail and wanted money. Voice was not my grandson and I hung up...My husband made a mistake and said "who is this-Nicolas" and the caller said yes. Said he was in Quebec in a holding cell for having marijuana in the car. I told him too bad, you are not my grandson and I have no money and hung up. Should have kept him on phone and got more info from him -sorry.

This guy is actually affiliated with this number 347-727-9566, he is located in bothel,wa. He sells electronic devices and claims he wanted to purchase me laptop. We simultaneously calling me on 760-705-8888 and 347-727-9566, he had a hard accent to hear so I hung up and text him telling him that I knew who he is. Here is his youtube account http://www.youtube.com/jsingh0605 and has been seen selling Iphones on Seattle Craigslist, stop this man from making prank calls.

Guys that number is just a main line for people with goole phone, kind of like vonage except all outgoing calls appear as 760 705 8888, thank gmail but all in all its free and usefull, but still in beta

They called and said they calling from Quran acadmy or Quran online. They call four or five times a day. Please block this call.
