A "Rachel Smith" with an accent (not sure what country but sounded Latino) called asking for one of my daughters. She misduplicated both the first and last name. Said she was from some Legal agency and implied that my daughter could have 'legal difficulties' if she didn't respond. My daughter has not been living with us for about 15 years so this was suspect. I called the number 2x to question this but the phone went to 'busy' both times, so I discarded the message.
Another US treasury scam call. Caller left a message with my husband. He had a strong Indian accent and said his name was David Cooper. When I called back and asked for his name, an operator asked if I could give her the phone number I received the call from. I said "no, you must have an employee list, correct?" She responded, "Okay, have a nice day, goodbye" and hung up...lol
