I got the SAME treatment, only my "contact" was KEITH NELSON...also threatened me with lawsuits, police/court fraud, blah blah blah...only after I gave him what was requested did I find this site, AND ALL THE CRAP THESE GUYS ARE DOING!! They called once before and I scramed at them over the phone because the guy that spoke to me said he was a FBI agent first...then went on to say he was a COP. I was in a very bad mood that day, and really read them the riot act. Several weeks later they called again; Being in the wrong state of mind when they call can REALLY mess you up!! However, :o) - since finding this..the tables are about to turn on ol' Keith Nelson (AKA - whatever)...and all his little buddies that are calling. He will soon find out how fun this is really going to be....for me.
this guy keeps calling me saying if i didnt call him back right away that all he could do was wish me good luck. i talked to him a couple weeks ago and he tried to tell me i owed money to his comonay and if i didnt pay it then i would lose out on social security and i would lose my home and wouldnt be able to get a job. when i started asking alot more question he tried to hurry up to get off the phone. i think he said his name was mark but he sounded like he was from india. he calls several times a day.
I have received this call several times. The first time, I called them back 3 times, and they kept hanging up on me! Finally told me not to call them anymore! Got another call today. Indian man named "Mark Andrews" gave me the same scripted message as before, including threats to have me arrested or worse. Please don't give them any information, and don't verify what they already have! It is totally a scam and they will stop for a short while if you confront them. They treated me like dirt because I didn't give into them and send them money. I am a lowly woman to them and did not have the right to argue with them. What a bunch of cowards!
Received a call from this man. Said his name was Shawn Smith---with his Indian accent. Said I needed to call him back immeadiately regarding money I owe his "division" at some payday loan company. Never have I ever contacted anyone regarding a payday loan, so I knew it was a scam. I was told that if I did not call back or if I ignored the call, the FBI and police department would be coming after me. At the end of the voice message, he once again reiterated that if I ignored the call "all he can say is good luck with what is going to happen to me"
What is also relevant to this call, is that about a week before I began receiving these phone calls, I had an unauthorized electronic withdrawal from my bank account in the amount of $30.00. The electronic check imprint that I viewed online said it was made out to Payday Loan Protection. I immediately called my bank to report fraud. I had a report filed and the money refunded. I ended up having to close my account and re-open another one.
Beware of this scam!!!!!
the above number called claiming that I had a law suit against me froma payday loan company for $8,000. 00 and his client is willing to settle out of court for $942.00 that needed to be sent immediately or law action will be taken. He asked me to fax a letter of good intent to pay. This letter had to include my name, 16-digit card number, expiration date, security code, and a photo copy of my drivers license. Red flags went up when I started asking too many questions and the man became very hostile and rude and he ultimately hung up on me. These men scared me so bad with threats and quick talking but Im happy to say I caught there act before they caught me. PLEASE be careful and never give away your bank info.
