called me as well, same spiel, did not leave a message for a specific person at the phone number so pretty sure they did not know who they were calling and just calling phone numbers. Treasury does not work this way.

I thought this was a scam and so I looked this up. I am glad I did. I really wish there was a way to capture this guy and put him out of business.

received a call yesterday at 11:18 in coming was from 206-800-7919 but wanted me to call back Steve Martin at 765-558-3694 regarding U S Treasury and they wanted to help with a problem I had with the US Treasury. I don't have a problem with the US Treasury. I have saved the message they left on my phone.

I tried calling "Steve Martin" back at 765-558-3694. I thought it would be a lot of fun to waste "Steve's" time. But when I tried to call, all I got was a busy signal.

Same message as others. "Steve Martin" 2nd attempt, US Treasury, etc... Gave the same phone number 765-558-3694, but CID showed 206-800-7919.

Called my landline and left a message saying he was Steve Martin from the US Treasury. I have been told that the US Treasury will write, not call, and it came through as unknown name, so I deleted the message.

Called my landline and left a message saying he was Steve Martin from the US Treasury and this call was a 2nd attempt to contact to avoid going before a federal magistrate. Apparently there is a federal offense that he wants to help with and to call his number 765-558-3964. Clueless on my end!
