Rachel from cardmember services asked me to press 1 to lower my rate. I pressed 1, it rang, and when I got a human who asked if I pressed 1 to lower my rate, I said, "I pressed 1 so you'd remove my number." The human immediately hung up.
OK, y'all need to file these numbers with the FTC every time you get one of these so that they can track the scumbag down. It's not about the call, it's about the lookup service fee. Read the Seattle police report on Pacific Telecom (I think that's it). The guy had a block of 64,000 phone numbers, and got pennies on every robo call from AT&T, Verizon, etc.
Service offer to lower my "existing" credit card APR.
to lower my interest rate on my credit cards
Cheaper interest on credit cards. I press one to speak to someone and asked what the company was and don't want to receive these calls and they just hang up. I have received numerous calls at work, home, night, etc. and when I ask for them to stop they just hang up. I have no idea whether I have a prior relationship as I don't know the company.
