I didn't answer but assume from a debt collector since I don't recognize the number ... simple economics, if people didn't pay them anything then they wouldn't exist but there must be enough paying to make it worthwhile.
They are calling on a debt over 20yr old and was discharged in a bankruptcy! Rude people and annoying as hell. They have called for years. I think I have over 40 numbers in my blocked call contact I saved
