They just told me to go to He** when I told them I was not interested in any prizes...LOL
I played along with the entire call when I answered today. Yes they have accents, and yes they are calling to give you a "free prize" but it honestly didn't seem too sketchy.. and I used to do telemarketing and consider myself to be pretty aware of people's crap. They didn't ask for ANY personal information (other than email address to send everything in writing) and repeatedly stated there was no obligation to purchase anything. It's for a 90 min presentation in Indian Rocks, Fl to preview products that are being rebranded and advertised in new ways. It's not a time share plot, and I received everything in email form stating the prizes that are being given away, all of the details of the event, and again a "no obligation to purchase" statement.
I'm on Medicare so all the calls I get are about medical assistance. I did not pick up but I don't live in Florida so the only calls I should be getting are from family.
