I think this is the second time in the past several months i received a threatening call from these people in the person of "Officer Steve Parker" about pending legal action from the IRS. My answering machine picked up so I do have a recording the call.

claimed to be irs and when i confronted them on how irs operates they became hostile. irs always sends paperwork through the mail to start any kind of action, these guys are just fishing.

I received a call from "Officer Steve Parker" from the IRS instructing me to call this number before I "get arrested." I am also a retired person, but not too old to understand when I am being scammed!

This caller said he was "Officer Steve Parker" from the IRS. He warned me about legal proceedings and a fraud charge against me. I am clean with the IRS. This is obviously a scam. Don't fall for it!! I recently read about these calls being made to older people. I am retired.

They claim that it is the IRS and I need to return call or risk being arrested. The IRS does not call you they send letters!
