Left a message on my answering machine and said that it was an official call and I would need to call immediately if I wanted to avoid being arrested. SCAM!!!! If you listen to the voice the man is not from the US phone number identified as calling from Chicago, IL. Do not fall for this one. Always call the police and better yet the US Department of Treasury would not call they would send you a letter by registered mail.

Mr. Dennis Gray called us too.....from the Treasury Dept. It's sad that some people may actually fall for this, but Mr. Gray sounds like he doesn't even pay taxes ...in the U.S. anyway......

Yes, they called me and they sounded completely legitimate until they said the US marshall service was going to come arrest me for criminal tax evasion. Complete scam. Wanted me to pay $6,930. I could see how someone would fall for it because it was very scary. Caller said his name was Officer Robert Bryson from US Dept of Treasury and that a US magistrate had authorized my arrest. Would not send me any of the papers, but said arresting officers would have them. I called NYC police to report scam.

Called and said he was the federal government and I owed money. The US government DOES NOT CALL. They only mail you. Anytime you ever get a call like this never speak to them. Absolute SCUM.
