Caller ID showed Wilkerson, Robert was calling. Someone called Ben said they were calling. I asked why Robert was not on the phone if my caller ID had his name. They transferred me to Robert. Of course it was "Microsoft" and he was calling from Seattle. They must think everyone is an idiot and does not know of this scam. He eventually hung up. Love to use up their time and drive up the cost of their phone charges!

775-738-2749- called and threatened co-worker that he would show up at her home in 30 minutes if she didn't do as he told her. He laughed when she asked him where he was from and said "try to track me". He also used profanities within the call when she decided not to do as told.

Robert Wilkinson? heavy accent, asked for my wife, could not pronounce her name, and hung up when I said she wasn't home.

Caller ID showed this number and "Rober Wilkinson". The old, "We at Microsoft have been receiving errors from your computer for the last few weeks and want to show you some error logs." scam. Asked him what my IP address was and he read off some random numbers ending in 1234. I have received these calls before and it is an effort to get you to run some commands on your computer from your keyboard and give them control of your computer. THAT'S when your life takes an ugly turn. If you hang up, they will call back every few days until they get tired. Keep hanging up or keep them on the line as long as possible so that they can't call the next person. Don't run any of their commands on your computer, no matter what.
