Same here want date of birth and mailing address without identifying themselves. They say its an important matter I need to deal with. Like I'm going to give out personal information over the phone to unknown caller. After several questions they say we're Telus or with Telus. Called back it was CBV collections and they hung up on me.

I keep getting calls from them 'regarding a matter with Telus" whom I have never done business with. I like the long post about complaining to the CRTC...I will do that. This can't be legal and they cannot be allowed to harass people they KNOW don't have debt with these companies.

i just told them ...u have the wrong number when they asked for my husband ... collections
they've bought out a written off debt and try to get u to admit to it ... ont law has a 2 year statue of limitations.... can't go after the debt afrer 2 years UNLESS YOU ADMIT TO IT ....

I just received two calls from this number about 20 minutes apart. I have a pay-as-you go cellphone from Telus, and I actually have paid for 2 months in advance. There is no way I am behind on any bills. I'm thankful I looked up this number before answering and wasting my call time....
