Called me so early in the morning I was sleeping. Not interested in any unsolicited calls at all. I only buy from stores at the shopping mall a block from my home as I'm very elderly, very low income, and don't want to be bothered by calls from strangers at all. Too many people calling me each day asking me to buy something. Well, I don't have an income, am not employed, and not interested in what anyone is offering or asking for, since the shopping mall near my home has all the stores and services that I need, and that's how it's going to be....Please stop calling me in the mornings as it's too difficult to get out of bed to get to a phone and only accept phone calls from those I know well or are related to, and I know who they are. Do you callers have any idea how painful it is for an elderly person to hop out of a deep sleep early in the morning to answer the phone? I told my kids to call me at certain times. So there's no need to abuse me with your unsolicited calls asking me to buy something I don't want. Let me live my golden years in peace and harmony. Don't call again, please. I have everything I need. Why do you wake me up in the morning with those unwanted calls when it's so difficult to fall asleep at night when your this old?

QVD is not the shopping network QVC. They are a telemarketer. And do not ever answer the phone or that keeps them calling back. Best to get a call blocking machine and get rid of these people.

They called this morning, after doing some checking on them and they invading my PRIVACY POLICY.. i have put a tracer on their calls as these are harassing calls. so i keep a log of all calls check these sites for others that have the same problem scammers calling,so with this data base, it can be very profitable to anyone ,,,, hire a lawyer and for each call they will have to pay you upto 500.00 per call .... wow and this will stop them just think 10 calls in a month = 5,000... beats working part time at 8.20 hr,uhm....

It does not work that way. No one gets paid fines these people pay but it goes to the FTC. Anyone who wants to hire a lawyer for every telemarketing call has got to be nuts or very, very rich.

Generated by the AMERICAN RELIGIOUS RIGHT which is just as dangerous as ISIS in wanting to CONTROL *ALL* American's behavior and choices. Caller ID said "QVD" but Caller was "LIFE GIVING MOMENTS" which is just bullsh*t. Trying to RECORD our voices answering "YES" to some stupid question so that they can claim we consented to a 'business relationship' so they can CONTINUE to call us with impunity from the DNC List laws.

"QVD" stands for a company that sells blocks of regional phone numbers to telemarketers and scammers. When googling them as a company logo, the following "agreement" comes up, that a scammer or telemarketer company has to agree to before they can obtain the number lists, which are used to feed robocalling computer programs.
'By clicking the “I Agree” box and clicking the “Submit” button on this page you and all affiliated businesses and subsidiaries (the “Company”) herby agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined herein between the Company and Quality Voice & Data, Inc. located at 808 4th Street, Aurora, NE 68818 (“QVD”) agree as follows relating to the QVD Enhanced DialerID® service (the “service”).

The Company requests QVD to assign it domestic telephone numbers with corresponding caller name storage in the national Calling Name database (“CNAM”) to be used by the Company for CallerID for various outbound contact center programs.

QVD Duties. QVD agrees to assign to the Company telephone number(s) (“QVD Numbers) to be utilized for CallerID. QVD is not obligated to provide to Company any telephone numbers and does so at its sole option. All telephone numbers provided under this agreement will remain the sole and exclusive property of QVD. The Company agrees it has no claim to such telephone numbers now or in the future.


Company Duties. The Company agrees to use its best efforts to use QVD Numbers it requests from QVD, by utilizing the Company’s technology to display these numbers as CallerID. The Company by this agreement is not obligated to utilize such numbers. The Company agrees to use QVD Enhanced DialerID service at all times in accordance with all applicable laws, including the “Truth in CallerID Act” and the applicable FCC regulations, and intellectual property laws.
Termination. Either party may terminate this Agreement upon at least thirty (30) days written notice to the other. In the event one party breaches its obligations under this Agreement, the other party shall be entitled to immediate termination upon at least ten (10) days written notice, provided that the breaching party fails to cure the breach within such ten day period.


Construction; Venue. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. The Company and QVD acknowledge that the sole and exclusive venue for any matters arising hereunder shall be the court of competent jurisdiction in Nassau County, New York, and that each of the Company and QVD waive any objections to such venue.
Confidentiality. The information that is provided by the Company or is obtained by QVD on behalf of the Company pursuant to this Agreement is confidential and proprietary information of the Company. The information that is provided by QVD or is obtained by the Company on behalf of QVD pursuant to this Agreement is confidential and proprietary information of the Company. Both Company and QVD hereby agree to keep the terms and conditions of this agreement confidential.


No Warranties. QVD HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES NOT EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NONINFRINGEMENT, OR OTHERWISE.'

Just don't pick up whenever you see a number or company name on the caller ID that you are not familiar with. Use their time and expense against them. Waht company can stay in business when they can get no customers or customer response?

Just received a call from this number. Not knowing what "QVD" stands for, I didn't answer. My machine message began and the caller said something like, "Is Betty there?" So they know my first name. Big deal. I only make purchases on calls that I place.

Caller: The caller's voice was that of a female. She broke the connection in the middle of her own sentence.

CAlled me on 12/12 @ 530pm...My dinner time so I did not answer. After meal was done I checked for messages and none there.looked at caller I D & it showed QVD.
