SEC. 227. [47 U.S.C. 227] RESTRICTIONS ON THE USE OF TELEPHONE EQUIPMENT (a) DEFINITIONS.—As used in this section—
(1) The term “automatic telephone dialing system” means equipment which has the capacity—
(A) to store or produce telephone numbers to be called, using a random or sequential number generator; and
(B) to dial such numbers.

Who ever is calling from all these #s about the security system is breaking a federal law. Each call I have received I stated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Every time I have been hung up on.
this is a spam call. selling security system for the home, getting the call on my land line too.
Telemarketer that uses automated machines to call numbers. Representatives will hang up on victims within seconds of discovering that the individual is not interested in their product. They will say they will add you to the do not call list, but are lying. Report to FCC and contact your phone company about blocking the number.
Telemarketer introducing alternative to cable or satellite saving thousand dollars a year, which sounded too good to be true, but since my cable bill just jumped up to $154. so I checked it out, first time I am glad I got sales call. This is a SCAM. Trying to say you have been referred by someone for a free home installation that monitors inside your home 24 hours a day! Do not follow through with it!
