It was a recorded message that said that my account was temporarily locked and to enter a sixteen digit card number to unlock it

Same. Auto call for frozen credit card account. They said press 1 which I did then asked to input bank account number. Suspected Fishing Attempt and hung up. Called my main bank and they said all my cards were good.
