left a voice mail stating that he is calling from the Federal Govertment, Crime and Prevention Department". Asked me to relay message to friend (gave full name) and to tell her to call him immediately on a very serious matter with the Federal Government's Crime and Prevention Department in Miami
he says the debt collector is cash advance expert
there number is 202-241-7370

basically all the complaints he is stating above
i've read that in the state of florida
that they cant call like that
it says to file a complaint to the District attorney.

I just received a phone call from a Victor Griffin stating that he was from the Federal Crime and Prevention Lab and that I was being sued for a Cash Advance PayDay Loan. He then proceeded to tell me that I was being recorded so I should not try to deny it nor should I interrupt him until he was finished. Shortly after he finished I informed him that he was mistaken and then he proceeded to tell me that I was going to be picked up by the police from either my job or my home and taken to jail for payday loan fraud. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and he transfered me to a John Marshall and this man informed me that Victor would be fired and that I should just send the funds to him to settle. THIS IS AN ONGOING SCAM!!I HOPE THESE MEN GET CAUGHT SOON!!!!!!

I received a call from the above number. Caller with thick West Indian-sounding name identified himself as "Victor Griffin, calling from the Federal Govertment, Crime and Prevention Department". Asked me to relay message to friend (gave full name) and to tell her to call him immediately on a very serious matter with the Federal Government's Crime and Prevention Department in Miami". I checked this number and department out on online and found long lists of complaints about this number, this identity and similar messages. I called back and reached an answering machine. While listening to the message, I received a second call from the above number and informed the caller that I have reported this number and this identity to the Florida state Attorney General's office; stated twice that no one from the above number has my permission to contact me again and that I would be referring any future calls from this number, this identity and this "department" to my own attorney.

A man names Victor Griffin from the Federal Government of Crime & Prevention agency called to tell me about a pending legal matter against my s.s #. Very heavy west indian accent. Ask me several questions, and when I asked a few he would not give me any answers, like I asked him the address of this Department, he said he didnt have to give it to me. So I told him he was a scam artist and that he wouldnt see a dime from me. This people need to get a real job and stop scamming people out of there hard earned money.
