Call regarding newspaper subscription. Previously had a "pre-paid" newspaper subscription with the Florida Times Union. When the balance was depleted, the subscription stopped. We did not desire to renew subscription. Since delivery ended, calls from this company on behalf of the Florida Times Union have been received daily. Left two messages with the company requesting calls cease. Answered a call, representative told me I owed a balance with the Times Union and could have the amount brought current. Florida Times Union confirmed there is *NO* balance due. Informed the representative that she may be violating federal law- line went silent, did not drop call, however.
