The caller did not say his name pronounced my name as soon as I picked up and went on to say that my computer system was being hacked with illegal activity I asked what he was talking about and he hung up on me I tried to call back and got a message saying that number had been reported as a fraud

asked personal information, had name, address,phone number, wanted month and day of birth, had year. i had applied for life insurance policy and he said i could receive 3x more insurance from them,with more information. i told him to call back in an hour because i could not understand him. no call

We get calls from these people all the time using several different numbers and they usually hang up when questioned a lot. I remained on the line and didn't act too confrontational this time and was able to get the following info out of this scam artist. They also usually call asking for my mother by name, guess they're using the phone book.
They are usually polite at the beginning and talk over you if you have any questions and if you're too insistant in asking they get rude or hang up.

Calls are always from people with heavy indian accent stating my computer has virus and sending out information to their routers indicating I have viruses which will prevent my computer from starting in a few days unless I get their support because my anti-virus software
I'm using is disabled and not working and he could show me the viruses on my computer and walk me through fixing it. I humored these guys once before, if allowed they will want you to download some off the wall no name software which is theirs, then it has a thing built in which will allow them remote access to your computer so they can "fix the problem" after you give them your credit card info.

I've been in arguments with these people many times, I AM on the do not call list, guess they don't care or bother to even check.

My last call was from Steven from Support Plaza in NY
1-786-664-7971 (Skype number used for calls) @ 3:15pm on saturday 8/10/13 and he said their address, company name and toll free number was as follows. I found this website related to such a company online which is also provided below. Reporting this to the FTC or FBI never seems to have any result as years later they are still in operation.

This number calls me several times a day, several days a week. Doesn't matter if it's 9:30 at night or if it's 6 in the morning, I'm likely to get a call from this number. They don't say anything most of the time, just background noise and I say hello repeatedly only to get no response. This last time, about five minutes ago, on the third hello a German-sounding woman said "Goodbye" and then there was a loud high pitched sound.
I don't have caller ID, so I answer every time the phone rings and *69 it when it's a prank or my repeated hellos get no response.
I've absolutely had my fill, and I wish nothing but the worst for whoever this person is. Every time they call and tie up my line, I could be missing a call about one of the many applications I've put out, or from my fiance about his dying grandfather, or from my mother who lives six hours away. It's so rude and annoying to have to put up with this crap.

Tried to tell me my spam emails would cause a problem on my computer.

After many calls I finally answered, after a few seconds an Indian accented woman came on asking my name.I gave her three good blasts from the handheld air horn and asked her to call again. I could hear the noise from the "Boiler Room" operation in the background very noisy. I hope she had her headset turned up so she could hear well with all that noise. I hope she calls back.

Didn't answer knew it was a scam number

fowl langauge would not identify self. reported to the police for further investigation and lawsuit.
