Man said that they were sent errors from my computer and he said I needed to turn it on and he would tell me what I needed to do. I told him he was crazy if you don't think I know this is a scam and he
hung up.
Keeps calling. Says he's calling from Microsoft/Windows and there is a problem with my computer. Told him this was a scam, but he kept pleading his case in an Indian accent. I hung up. Got another call from the same number this morning that woke us all up. They hung up. Tried to call back and you get an American woman's message to leave a voicemail that will be forwarded to her computer....probably to the man in India!....but the mailbox is full. Such an annoyance. Such a scam. Beware.
They called me at 3:35 am! This is completely ridiculous!! It scared me and my husband to death! They did not leave a message.
"Mike from the technical department at Microsoft"- Broken English with a heavy Indian accent. Scammer that wants you to do things to your computer. BEWARE
