This is FRAUD! They are calling and saying that they are following up on your loan application with LIGHTSTREAM. You "know" whether or not you made application, so if you did not, "Hang Up Immediately!" Call Lightstream Lender direct at 1-877-977-1739 or 1-866-505-8362 to verify that they are not processing a fraudulent application. After that, lock your credit report to all new applications. You will need to unlock your credit report if, in fact, you are trying to make a new application at a later date. Finally, report the call to the FTC.
