A ROBO message was left on my phone about a possible fraudulent charge on my cc. I knew it was a scam right away.

I just got a call from this number claiming to be PNC. They said it was PNC bank loss prevention, but this number does not match what PNC says online.

They called me. It was PNC. SOMEONE WAS USING MY NUMBER ONLINE, i USE ONLY ONE CARD FOR ONLINE PURCHASES SO KNEW RIGHT AWAY IT WAS NOT ME. THANK YOU PNC BANK

I received a text message of possible bank fraud from PNC. Two purchases were linked together for me to authorize or not authorize. One was legit, the other was not. When I called the phone number provided it requested my complete credit card number. I have received such fraud alerts from this number in the past that were fine.

PNC Bank told me 224-5618 is a known scam.. Do not give them any information.

I just got a call from this number as well, and I don't have any cards with PNC. I also got a similar text about 45 minutes earlier from a 94387 number asking me if I purchased a couple of items with dates and amounts included.

This is a legit number for Visa fraud division. In my case PNC. They call when something unusual happens with your card. I just called them back because I had repeat charges for the same place. They are looking out for their cardholders. I have dealt with them numerous times and I'm glad they spot these things.

LEGIT CALL FROM PNC BANK SECURITY

I purchased airline tickets from an overseas vendor.

PNC security had called from 800-225-5618. I didn't answer, but called my local branch first and they verified that it was a legit number. Then, I called 800-225-5618 back to the automated system to verify those purchases using my new credit card.

I'm happy they did so...looking out for me and them.

Received many calls at various times of day and evening. The rep who answered couldn't tell me who they were calling and stated it was about fraudulent charges on my credit card. I don't (and haven't ever) dealt with PNC and don't have a credit card
