Recently my card was compromised and PNC calledto verify that it was indeed not me making the charge. They blocked the card and issued me a new one. I havent even recieved the new card yet and I get another call fom pnc that card was being used to pay a reoccurring payment to microsoft. I dont pay or buy anything form microsoft. The girl I talked to could not speak very good english,I asked and she said she was from the Philipines. I ask to be transfered to someone that spoke clear english and they gave me another philipine and I again asked for another person and a third time got someone I could not undertand.The explanation I got for the microsoft being able to access a cc number of a newly issued card,that I havent even recieved yet, was because of some feature that PNC has tied to my account to notify companies of a change of my stored numbers and provide the new number so they can use it. That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. If I want anybody to have my saved CCnumber,I will provide it myself. All the while, the people on this phone call kept asking for my personal identifying information. So is the number a scam. i dont know, but I hung up and will be going to my local pnc branch on Monday to see if I can get a real English speaking person to verify what the hek is going on.

A ROBO message was left on my phone about a possible fraudulent charge on my cc. I knew it was a scam right away.

I just got a call from this number claiming to be PNC. They said it was PNC bank loss prevention, but this number does not match what PNC says online.

They called me. It was PNC. SOMEONE WAS USING MY NUMBER ONLINE, i USE ONLY ONE CARD FOR ONLINE PURCHASES SO KNEW RIGHT AWAY IT WAS NOT ME. THANK YOU PNC BANK

I received a text message of possible bank fraud from PNC. Two purchases were linked together for me to authorize or not authorize. One was legit, the other was not. When I called the phone number provided it requested my complete credit card number. I have received such fraud alerts from this number in the past that were fine.
