some mumble pajeet called from another number asking to call back this number about capital one auto finance failed, fyi i have never failed a payment and checked my online portal at capital one and everything is current. i called scam number with auto attendant sounding suspiciously like a fraudulent capital one. DO NOT let these guys scam you.

i called back after a voice mail from this number. they asked for my name (which when i call about capital one credit card info they already know my name from the number im calling from) then asked me for my full SS# i hung up. just dont seem legit

This is legitimately capital one. I received a call from this number and found it suspicious, so I called capital one to ask them about it. They said that number is for them and that it was someone following up on an issue I had called about the week before.

States they are Capital One Auto Finance. I called the number that I know is for my Capital One account and was told they only call if we are behind on payments. Which I am not. They stated no one from Capital One has called on my account.
