Federal Tax authorities will seize social security benefits and wages and bank accounts etc.
I got something in the mail from them with J. Brown as the issuer. It looked very "official" with logos, typical fonts the IRS uses and the format of IRS or State Tax Office correspondence. However, the address was Los Angeles (I live in Kansas) and they also referred several times to "The Federal Tax Authorities" as a third party. I think it's probably some sleazy tax settlement company trying to scare you half to death. It's too bad the idiots in the government don't do more to use our hard-earned tax dollars to curb such fraud and abuse!!!
