I think that all of us who do not owe or have an account with NCO should file a class action lawsuite on the base of harrassment!. I remember many many years ago Capital one got my number (it was before the caller id lol) I would answer and would be yelled at and threatened many times a day till they had done this over and over all day any day. I say we all form and go after this company in a legal way and cook their goose! I don't owe you any money NCO or have any conection to Capital One! bug off and leave me and others alone. calling from overseas is a joke you think you can get away with harrassment and threats if you set your outsorced people up outside the states? chickens! I for one as I have said before Capital One is a bunch of ruthless scammers and liers and you never want to have a credit card with them! or any red umbrella companey. This is just one of their crooked collections agency that works with them and other shady companies. lets stand up and not be harrassed. me myself I never answer or use the phone they call so I can care less they can call. in my own opinion I do not trust this company or anyone with the red umbrella in that finacial group. bunch of old selfish rich old men who want more money power and booze. form a group lets sue!

We have been receiving several calls per day for the past month, but did not answer it because we assumed it was a telemarketer. Debt collection was not a possibility because we don't owe anyone. Finally my husband picked it up yesterday and they asked for information on a person we do not know. They did not identify themselves, so it was very suspicious. Companies better get their facts straight before harassing people or identity thieves better get more creative.

I have been getting 3 calls/day from Sirius stating they noticed that I cancelled my account and they want to know why...I have responded a couple of times and asked to be removed from their call list. Most of the time I don't answer, but this is getting pretty annoying and it also bothers me because I did cancel my service about 5 months ago...Why is sirius giving this information to a debt collection agency, if that is really what this number is??

This number calls me every other day and sometimes twice a day for the last week. Leaves no message. I believe it is NCO harrassing me because I have not used my credit d=card and now they want me to pay the full balance. They are the collection part of capital One. I called Capital one to make sure my payment plan was in good satanding , It is and was yet they continue to harrass me even though I have creamed at several of them not to call.

I get 6 to 7 calls a day. I have requested our name to be taken off their list twice today and they just KEEP calling. WE DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUT!!!

They call me nearly every day a minimum of 6 times. this goes on from 8am, 7 days a week, until about 8:45 pm. One day I received 9 calls from them. Another day it was every 2 - 4 hours. Are they kidding? I do not have vm and I am not answering. Don't collection agencies know when it is calling vs. harrassing. I am now keeping all the calls in my cell. have to find out if the harrassment law states they must get vm or talk to someone in order for it to be considered harrassment. Anyone know?

Left a voicemail for me to call with a priority code. When I called they immediately asked for my Capital One account number. I told them I didn't have one. I gave them the phone number that i was calling from and they said it had been removed from their system.

I called back again later and they asked for my card number. I told them I didn't know but gave them my code that they left in the voicemail. Then I gave them a fake name that didn't match their records. She told me she was with Cqpital One then I told her I was with Capital One. Spent 15 minutes on the phone with her. When I pressed about the relationship between their company and Capital One she really scrambled but held up well. I asked for a website and she gave me NCOGroup.com but wouldn't give me a phone number for their corporate office. Not sure if the website is legitimate or just a cover.

They called and told me they were Capital One and wanted to verify my account information. When I refused they then told me my account was in collections. They only identified themselves as Capital One - not true nor was there "collections" claim. I believe they are scamming people to "update" info then steal your credit card number. DO NOT VERIFY INFO for them - has a legitimate credit card company ever called you out of the blue and asked you to verify your account information? NO.

Have forwarded their info to Capital One as they identified themselves as such with no affiliation to Capital One what so ever.

calls several times a day...no acct

I called NCO back at the number the previous poster gave 1800-260-5570. I spoke to a woman with a heavy accent who said that the person with debt (with my name) didn't live in my state and there were no delinquent accounts associated with my number (WTF!?!)

I informed them I already knew I did not have debt and was on the National Do Not Call List. I also infomed them that I was on the FCC online complaint form ready to submit my complaint about their company and would like to speak to a manager.

I spoke to a manager named Alex would said he would manually remove my name from their files and expedite the changes so I wouldn't receive anymore calls from NCO.

I warned him that I would wait a week before submitting my FCC complaint form. He asked me to call him back (number+extention given) before I did that.

Hopefully this will take care of the annoying phone calls.
