This is what they left me on 02-24-2016:
Recorded Message: Notice from IRS Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 800 269 6198.I repeat 800 269 6198 Thank you.

I got the same thing but mine said it was a final notice
I received a call from someone indicating their name was Mike Watson and that there was a ;lawsuit being filled by the IRS, that my accounts would be seized, my license revoked, and a warranty for my arrest. I let the call know he was being recorded and commenting fraud for impersonating a IRS agent. He hung up.
I received a call yesterday from the same number, call back this morning got a Carlos Hernandez. He went through the same script. I basically starting confusing him and he hung up. This is the fourth time I have received a call from these people. The man is middle eastern. FYI people the IRS does not call you, without receiving a letter in the mail. Your license and taxes are not tied together. In addition when you receive a refund it s unlikely you owe monies. Beware for these clowns!
Fradulent IRS Call
I got the same call. Tried pressing 0 to get someone and it hung up. Tried calling the same number back and got a voicemail. I was hoping to talk to someone and string them along as long as possible to waste their time.
Recording said to call back same number. Claimed to be IRS and I had a court case against me for $4980. They said the had tried to contact me on Jan of 2015, and March 2015. Problem the debt was from taxes filed 2009 to 2014. In January or March of 2015 the 20014 taxes were not due, plus I received a refund, and I am sure the IRS would not give out refunds to people they were currently in court trying to get money from. They try to sound legitimate, and will not hang up, just keep repeating their script. I told them I was going to call the police on the other line and let them speak to the police, then they hung up quickly.
