I had been having issues with my iphone. It kept statingI was over my data usage. After being unsuccessful in trying to get Apple on the phone I used a text number I had sucessfully used before. But I find that was a scam too Ihad important legal information on my phone that I did not want loss(evidence) voice recordings disappeared, email account disappeared. I'm texting person aboutthis when suddenly a call comes in frm 1-800-275-2273 stating they referred my issue to technical support.( whichI thought I had) anyway, this person perceives to instruct me to back up my data and I explained that two apps were missing. She stated shewould get that back shortly. We bck up the files, and then she prompted me to erased the data because the reading it was overload but it would be put back in. Stupidly, I allowed her access to mypone, butit seemed geniune because of the rights clause and such. When she finished it looked okay.That is until she hung up. Suddenly allthe texts ( supposedly from Apple) were gone, my important voice memos were gone, and my email address gone!!! My situationis unusual because I have legal evidence showing harrassment and now it has disappeared. Theft by deception on my e-mail address was duplicated now gone. BEARE of this number 1-800-275-2273 if sounds good but it's a farce.

They called. Apple support scam. I always stay on the phone with them and get their hopes up that they are going to get me to go to the scam website. Usually, i read them what google says about the website they send me to. I say, "oh, this is odd. It says "This is a site that scammers use to gain access to your computer...."" They then terminate the call. I always imagine that if I take up their time, they don't get to use that time talking to a vulnerable senior. Wishful thinking, I know.
This time, they called and said to go to "www.anydesk" which could be a legit site being used by unscrupulous people.

i have been getting calls from 800-275-2273 on my cell phone voice mall, I am glad to know this is an Apple Scam Phishing call. They left the number 9279 thank you message. be careful

At first this number was Private Number . But this morning it had this number . I've received several recorded calls (of poor technical quality, almost unintelligible) purporting to be from some Federal agency threatening me with prosecution (for what is not clear) if I don't return the call. So very tired of the robo calls.

Apparently whoever is using this number has gone on to a new grift recently. I've received several recorded calls (of poor technical quality, almost unintelligible) purporting to be from some Federal agency threatening me with prosecution (for what is not clear) if I don't return the call.

they are using a machine and saying your icloud has been hacked. then want you to call another number. When I called the original # back it says it's Apple Support. To smooth.

Yep! Breech in iCloud. Said it’s compromised. I said I have 4 accounts. Not true however they only had my name but no account name. The man spoke with a India accent in a very loud and noisy call center. So sad
