Last week Ben called saying he is from AT&T and that he knows I am paying too much for direct TV. Since I do not subscribe to any television cable service, I asked him how he knows this. He said he had a list of all customers. I asked him how I got on this list and to read me the list. He got very exasperated and hung up. Scammers cannot provide details and will do everything to try to stick to a script. They cannot back up their lies with any facts. AT&T does not make these calls. This is a scammer.
I received a call from this number saying they were AT&T Service. I hung up and called AT&T to confirm that this was a scammer call.
They have called at least 8 times in the last three hours. With all the complaints, why hasn't something been done to these sob's? I don't answer the calls - the answering machine picks up. So tired of this.
They've called 7 times to my business office, and twice I've told them we don't have their service and the immediate hang up on me! They don't even try to find out if I am registered with them, the call is a recording that only gives you the option to speak with a representative or hang up, the recording states that there has been a break in the internet or someone is trying to access our account (which we don't have), the representative that does answer has a very thick foreign accent, probably some scam
