I called this number back and the number goes through to India.
Maybe that's why they call here in the middle of the night. There is about a 13 hour time difference between here and there.
I have VoIP and can call international, maybe this is why the call went through for me.

They called 6 times in thirty minutes at about 1 pm. EST.

I called the Canadian "Do not call" number and they said to call them every time I get a call from this number. 1-800-300-4000 is a computer generated number that is also associated with 1-562-916-3379.
So next time you get a call from this 800-300-4000 number call the Do Not Call number at 1-866-580-3625 and they will be able to do something about it

Hi everyone, I hope this helps others out? Try filing a report with the FCC. Its a Government web site here in Canada. There are LAWS about doing such calls.

This number calls me Monday thru Friday. It calls sometimes up to 25 times a day. I've called the number and even faxed it to no avail. I called my cell phone provider and there's no way to block it. What can I do? Its extremely irritating. My ex wife doesn't bother me this much.

1-800-300-4000 called 3x in one night, 10:21 PM, 12:21 Am and the final one 1:47 AM and I live in CANADA. Never left a message, fax tone or background music. Very annoying.

This number keeps calling 3-4 times a day and leaves a fax tone. I am a doctor and this is interfering with our ability to take care of our patients.

I have been receiving calls from this number every 5-10 minutes all day. This is a medical business phone! The number has ran my batery down twice today...AT&T says they cannot block the number. There has to be someway to stop this....I need my phone as it is the lifeline to my business.

called at all hours of the day for several days, just dead air on the other end, Finnally I hit the recieve on the fax machine and it came through as a fax. Very annoying as it is on my 24 hr Towing line, so I have to answer it....

I have been receiving calls between midnight and 7AM for the last three days.
I have filed complaints with the CRTC, and have left a message with "Brandy from Xavier" asking them to stop calling if they are the ones using 800-300-4000 (I called 1 (562) 916-3379).
