I've been getting calls to my cell phone (a number that I don't give out to anyone except friends and family) everyday. At first I was getting the same messages from someone claiming that someone from David Lynch's office needed to get a hold of me for some unidentified reason. This went on for a month or so. Today I got a call from the same number, but the message had changed and it said that it was not a solicitation, but that I needed to call a Ms. Mallone and that this was a debt collector. I'm up to date on all of my bills, but since one person mentioned Juniper/Barclay, an account that I do have, I might call them directly rather than call this 800-304-8519 back. They sound like a scam.

A recorded message has been left on our machine every day for about 3 weeks now. Guy's name is Daniel Lynch, and claims to 'have an important matter that needs taken care of' and that 'they have been trying to contact me numerous times' (ya think??) We have no blemmishes with our credit, a couple months ago I happened to obtain a copy of both my wife and I's credit reports. They are great. This "Mr. Lynch" asks for no name and does not reveal what company he is with, but it's just sooooo important that we contact their office. I don't think so, I'm not calling crap until a real person calls, identifies themselves, and states what the business is about, and who it's for.

Luckily, we work each day, and the message is left during the day each day, but they've been calling on Saturday mornings, now I'm pissed.

No, according to law, it's not a "legitamate" collection agency.

I chose Collection Agency as the category, as it seems like it is a tactic that one of them would use.

glad i have an iphone. I use the app iblacklist to block this call everyday but they leave a message every time :(

I too keep getting calls from this number everyday. After being disconnected 2 times, and hung up on once, I spoke with a Mr. Koziol at 1-800-304-8519.IHe actually gave me an address if you wish to contact a lawyer for harrasement.

Auto phone call did not ask to speak to anyone, just to return call 800-304-8519 re debt collection, i do not owe any debts, only paying to two accounts up-to-date, i'm on the "do not call list" why are they still calling my number & where can i report this?
