Caller ID number had 267-201-9206, caller said his name was Ray Crusett asking for a donation. He gave me the call back number of 800-305-6574. He hung up on me when I asked him to spell his name.

Several calls received and it is a scam. Exploiting our hero policeman who have been victims of enough media.

They called me from 938-238-5976. Identified himself as Ken Daughtry. Then went into spiel. I did not give him a chance to finish and hung up.

Yes, they called me in North Carolina. I think the caller used the name "Mike." I pledged $15; I have a soft spot for the police. My grandson and my cousin's grandson are both police officers. Their bill came two days ago. The return address is in Wisconsin.- PO Box 44200, West Allis, WI 53214-7200. Having read other stories on this page, I will not waste $15 on them, but will give to some other charity. Their phone number on the bill is 1-800-947-0915; website is www.leorf.org. Hope this helps.

I also received a call from them and was about to send payment when I looked them up and found it was scam. Can anyone tell me how to get off this list. Kathleen Conroy. They wanted $100 donation but I chewed them down to $35

Same story. They sent two reminders of my pledge for 25. I decided right before I dropped this in the mail to check it out. Sad that this is a scam. It makes everyone slow to donate to real causes. I guess I will keep my donations/money local.

The number they used was 440-214-1026. To many different numbers looks like telemarketers. By the way I didn't answer, no message left.

Yes , they called me twice. Made it sound like the money was going to the families that have lost their father, a policeman, and the money was going to them. Now, according to this site, it's a scam. i received the envelope the my "pledge" of $15 will be going to Wounded Warriors instead. THANKS for the info! Unfortunately, I didn't save the number.

These people tried to give me a phone number to call to find out more about them when I questioned the validity of their organization since I'd never heard of them. I said "no actually I am looking you up right now" and she started stuttering and tried to get back to her speel about donations. So I started reading the reports to her about being SCAM and asked her how she slept at at night. I said "seriously? Do you have mirrors in your house because I wouldn't be able to LOOK AT MYSELF if I were you!" She said "I'm sorry Ma'am that you have heard bad things but.." and I said "NO. NO. I want to know... DO. YOU. SLEEP. AT. NIGHT?! Do you have kids? How DARE YOU"
....She hung up. When you call back it says all their reps are busy but they'll call back within a day. I can't f***ing wait. Scum

Yes they did. We had an officer killed here so I was sympathetic. Got out my checkbook this morning but decided to check it out. The letter looks so official.....disgusting!!! Why can't they be located and prosecuted?!! I live in Colorado.

Mike from National Patrolmans Foundation just called me I wanted to know who he was really with and he just repeated the foundations name so asked him to hold on I searched the name of the foundation and found this form and wanted to thank you all for posting here because I was able to tell him yes I would donate then he connected me to a lady who wanted my name and address so I him a fake name and address it might be wrong but if they want to scam people then why not have fun with them next time they call I am going to tell them I just killed my husband what should I do and see what they do then LOL! I am so sick of these people scamming people. Maybe if we all start having fun with them when they call then it will make them stop.

Patrolmans Foundation called us from 602-737-1898. They called twice back to back and when we answered the phone no one would speak. I called the number back and it wouldnt even ring - just silence for a few seconds and then the sound of someone picking up but immediatly hanging up. So no idea what its all about.

The National Patrolmen's Foundation called me again today from 424-301-8446, in So. California. I did say last October when they initially called from this 800 number that I would donate $15, after I checked if they give at least 40% of my donation to the fund. Guess what? They don't. They have called a few times again. Today I told them that I will NOT give because of the low percentage given to the actual fund. And I've been on the DoNotCall list for years, so leave me alone.
