I just received a call from them as well, Nationa Patrolman's Foundation. I got their Literature in the mail with an envelope for a donation the day after the phone call. When I first answered the phone, they asked if I could commit to $100.00 or $200.00. I said no, then they said how about $15.? But I had to send it right away! Well, glad I read these reviews, I am reporting instead of sending!

My hubby got the call and he is so easily swayed. Im glad I decided to check it out. I'll send it back with a message so they will have to pay for the postage.
Scam artist
I got a call, too, but, since I had never heard of them before, I requested that they send me an invoice, which they did. The number listed on the invoice is 800-947-0915 and the website is www.leorf.org. I tried to find a presence for National Patrolmen's Foundation on the internet, but can't find anything except that they are based in Sarasota, FL, and have been in business for 1 1/2 years. But, everything else I can find just says they are a scam, so I won't be sending any money.
I got this call, too 414-800-2987 out of WI on August 29, 2016. Also got turned over to the heavily accented female "validator." But I turned the tables and tricked these crooks by pledging and asking them to send the envelope (they already had my address). Of course, I would never give out any personal info, especially financial stuff. On the slick brochure they sent, listing both National Patrolman's Foundation and Law Officer's Relief Organization (guess they can't make up their mind which fake charity to collect for), they thanked "OUTREACH CALLING" for all their help. There's the roach in the woodpile, folks. Search "Damian Muziani" on the web and you will be disgusted by the web of deceit this Super Scumbag has been weaving for over a decade. He keeps getting sued but pops right back up like a scary whack-a-mole game that cheats unsuspecting soft-hearted and generous people out of their money. Keep the pressure on these predators by doing what I did and turn these crooks in to your local state's attorney general for investigation if they call you! The phone number they called you with means nothing to the authorities. It's a burner phone or VOIP that can't be traced. They need the info on that fake brochure. Miss Hipdeep N. Bullsheet will ask if she has your correct address. If they have it anyway, get the paperwork and go after these bastards. And don't be fooled by Muziani's third-rate failed "acting career." He's no "Average Joe." He's a shameless self-promoter from New Jersey who is nothing more than a First Rate Crook. Stop him!
I too received a call from the NPF (512) 675-7568 I tried to return the call and the call was not an active number. I am a retired chief of police so I am very leery of scams. I will donate directly to charity's that 90% of proceeds goes to the actual source. I ask if they are telemarketers, yes, was the reply. Then I told them NOT interested.
