never say why they are calling. just tell to ask for group 5 and thats all.
not sure who this group is..there prerecorded message says they are trying to contact me regarding a insurance claim resulting from a loss I may have been involved.in. THey never ask for me by name...but call about 2 times a day! I refuse to call back when they don't know my name. Also at end of message it says it is an attempt to collect a debt...not sure what to make of it, but it'd irritating!

If you have received calls from Omni Credit Services on your cellular/mobile phone and it was regarding someone else’s debt, please called the The Mathews Law Group in CA (formerly The Law Office of Charles T. Mathews) at 626-683-8291. We are currently fighting a consumer rights case against Omni and we can assist you as well. Help us put a stop to this type of collection practice.
This is an automated call that comes in every Saturday afternoon stating that they have tried to reach me since August (the phone number they are calling is new, with ser-vice starting October). The recording indicates that I need to call 1-800-305-6664 and ask for Group 5.
On a nearly daily basis and at least 3-6x a day I get calls from:
OMNI Credit Services, Inc.

Phone: (262) 784-0200

There has ONCE been a person on the other line to talk to. I'm not afraid to talk to them, told them I'm not interested in paying off my debt at this time and hung up. Prior to that and since then they call with it "unknown" then their 1-800-305-6664 and then sometimes the local number of 262-784-0200. I get the same recordings over and over. It tells me the date and how they've been trying to get a hold of me blah blah blah and to call them at the 800 number. I had to turn off my answering machine because it was THEM from start to finish. I hate to spend $40 to change my phone number but I'm afraid that's what I'm going to have to do!
The message is left on my phone but half of it is cut off and i cannot get a full reason why they are calling, who it is, or what an extension is.
