Prophet Manessah wants to pray for me because I am going through a hard time (ya darn skippy I am! Who isn't??)...oh, and he wants my money as well. lol! Jokes on them, I ain't got no money, honey!

Funny that I got a call to my cell (which isn't listed anywhere) and a call to my Magic Jack (which also isn't listed anywhere either). Twice...two separate days and both calls (to each phone) were within minutes of each other. Not sure where this person/organization got my numbers...I've been job-searching like crazy, perhaps from one of the places I applied? Boooo to that!

*shaking my head* Sad little world we live in, where people can scam others and nothing is safe...makes me paranoid of the internet in general and giving out ANY of my personal info anywhere, sometimes.

Meg, don't let this get you worried about the job applications having ANYTHING to do with it. It's pretty clear from the posts here and on another who-called site I check, that this is a random autodial type call list method Now go get that new job!

BTW, everyone, it's not just the FCC that takes an interest in companies that try to scam people out of money on the phone. The FTC does too. I wouldn't file a complaint to them for every DoNotCall violation, but scammers who have actually cheated you out of money or have done a hard-sell on you are worth reporting. Also the Better Business Bureau if you know the business name & state.
