They called me but after I picked up, they just hung up.

I received this call, and I do bank with HSBC. I also thought it was a scam, but I called HSBC (via the number on the back of my card) to confirm. They told me it was not a scam.

Same message here as the post on December 4. Seems like a scam.

Caller left message that I had not yet activated my HSBC master card, and to call same number back. I do not bank with HSBC, so this was probably a scam.
