The number is REAL but scammers may be spoofing the number

Called and said the account had been disconnected. Waited for a customer rep but all I got was recording.

This number also called me and I didn't answer phone. To many of the scams. If I don't recognize number I don't answer

SCANM - they are spoofing AT&T Customer Care Number !!!

Call saying that my wireless account would be suspended. Funny thing is I do have AT&T for my wireless but these morons called on my work phone!!! Losers!!! Another spam number blocked!

Tells you service is suspended. Number is valid but caller id spoofed.

Caller says they are going to close my mobile AT&T account...I don't have AT&T as my carrier. They call

Not a Scam. This actually ATT. I changed plans, and was confused, and called and got upset with their answer. Shortly after got a follow up call by a sales rep. Not a scam, actually it is ATT.

Your first clue should be "at&t wireless", that company no longer exists. It was merged with Cingular wireless and ultimately became at&t mobility. So absolutely, this is a scam.

Robo call telling me my AT&T account was suspended and to press one for verification to talk to a representative. I hung up and they called back and gave the same message again. Obviously not AT&T. I wish that AT&T would go after these spammers, scammers and rip off artist.

claimed to be AT&T--had the AT&T sound track at the beginning of the message, but the recorded message had a woman's voice with a fairly thick Spanish accent

Like others before me I have received numerous calls from this number telling me that if I don't pay up my service will be suspended. The funny part is my number is a burner phone that I paid $10 for with minutes paid for in advance. Besides I haven't done business with AT&T (who they claim to be) for over 30 years. Ciao.
