on Saturday 1/16/2021 at 12:53PM received call from male with heavy foreign accent from 603-344-1689 (telephone ID) who identified himself as Max Born (PHONETIC) FROM Xfinity when asked for his phone number he responded (802)276-4040. Born said he needed to upgrade our tv box. Told him to put on supervisor and I hung up. Received call back from supervisor with heavy foreign accent from telephone number 800-333-3474 (Dish TV per phone ID) hung up and checked Internet which I'D 800-333-3474 as spam call..

Called and wanted the number on my tv receiver; said they needed to download new software and I had to pay $175 or they would turn off service. Got very nasty when I asked for proof and to speak to his supervisor. TOTAL SCAM!!!

When I asked the called to take my name off the calling list, he started saying "Anna. "F" you "F" you. This is outrageous!!. I am a 70 + woman and do not need to hear this kind of language. If a company is hiring employees to do telemarking, they need to monitor what they say. Ia

Turds from India trying hard to scam people!! Todays scam call, the turd wanted to update my Dish system to have it ready to have it running properly for 2020!! ( I dont have Dish ) So I decided to go along with him and waist his day!! Asked me how many TVs I had, so I said 5, he asked me how many Dish boxes I had, so I said 4! He told me to turn on the TV and have me get my remote and he would walk me through the prosess of setting up the Dish box!! I let him ramble on for a while and thought it was funny that I dont even have anything! I asked him where he was calling from, he just kept saying Dish,, I asked him what city,, it took him a long time and said Siox city Iowa, and I couldnt understand him so asked him to repeat it 4 times as he couldnt pronounce it right. I asked him what time it was there,, he was off by 20 minutes, I asked him if the clocks in India run slow!! He finaly said; What the f#ck is going on, then he cussed some more and finaly hung up as I was laughing at him about waisting his time!! Its a Scam so dont fall for it folks. Scam call. Said they would upgrade my receiver and save me $25 per month on bill. It was funny when they asked me to acknowledge when I heard three beeps on my phone (he pressed 1-1-1 almost immediately). When they got to the part about a one-time $199 fee, I just kept repeating "no." They hung up shortly thereafter, before asking for any payment info.

Claims to be with Directv. Supposedly problems with satelite and need to switch us over. They wanted all the reciever information ....and of course my password!
Beware, I got one with this same technique last month!

Person had a strong accent and was pretending to be with Dish and trying to fish for account information. Appeared to have the names of persons on my cell phone account. Verified with Dish that this wasn't their call so it was obviously a scammer.

Some a-hole from India trying to get the IP address of and access to my Dish or DirecTV receiver because the satellite orbits have changed. I hung up on him. We should just sever all phone calls from India before the reach the recipient...
