Received a call from "UNKNOWN" that left a message saying they were calling from Capital 1. Since I had recently applied for a capital one card, I thought it was legit, so I called back on the number they gave me, which was 800-339-7054. When it picked up it had a "promotional" piece first, asking me if I'd like a free medical alert (just press 1 !) I skipped that and was offered a reduced price gift card for Kohls. Skipped that and was congratulated on winning a chance at a free trip to the Bahamas. Skipped that and .... I dialed "0" hoping to get to the Capital One service desk, but all it got me was the next promotion. I counted ten of these before I realized it has to be a scam and just hung up. AARRGGGH.
