800-347-4918 posed as Discover and when I stupidly called it back they asked for personal information to verify my account. SCAM SCAM SCAM I called the number on my card and they verified that Discover is NOT associated with this number. Do not give anyone your info.

I called Discover using the number on the back of my card and they verified that this number is not theirs. Always use the phone number on the back of your card to verify any incoming calls.

me: answering call - Hello?
caller: is he at home?
me: is who at home?
caller: oh that's all right, could you ask him to call 18003474918, my name is Marty.
me: sure Hon, you got an x?
caller: no
me: what it is about?
caller: nothing
me: this number is on the do not call list
caller: so what?

caller --Marty sounded like a child, a young boy.

no idea if this call was from a bank or what- no idea, caller would not say/
