I received an automated call saying that someone was trying to hack into my computer. I pressed 1 to speak to a representative. A man with a strong Hindu accent named "James" with Windows Security said my computer was being hacked and he wanted to walk me through the steps on my computer. I told him to give me his phone # so I could call him back. The number he gave is (800) 348-7205.

they're still at it - called my dad - he spoke first an American accented woman, then an Indian accented man who said (after he was asked) that he worked with "Forest Internet Solutions" in Florida. Said "they are trying to get into your computer we can fix it for you". Dad got the number and hung up.

Got a call from Lucy, said she was a certified technician for windows server and is located in Florida. Her company is First Internet Solution and she works with Google and Yahoo accounts. Wanted to show me how to remove hackers from my computer. I asked her how did I know she wasn't a scam, she said call back at 1(800)348-7205 if I couldn't get back onto my computer. Really?

Received a Robo call saying my computer has been hacked and press 1 to speak to a live agent. Agent 'Mary' told me to press "window sign + R" and enter "www.helpme.com" which I refused. I told me Mary if you are from Microsoft or windows team why are you sending me to a different website. I told her I'm an engineer and I know where she's calling from. I also offered her to speak in Hindi and she hung up. BEWARE! of these indian scammers.

Yes they called me.....i don’t believe a big corporation like Microsoft is going to call little old me to help me with my computer!

Called yesterday, “Diana” said our home network been hacked, asked my husband to let her fix it. My husband told her leave a call back number and will take care it later. “Diana” gave this 1-800-348-7205. We knew this a scam and ignored it.

Received call from this number claiming to be Microsoft and that my computer has been hacked. Kept them on the phone long enough to talk to get a real people (Daniel). Daniel explained everything I was suppose to do to fix( funny thing I don't have a computer)

I received a call saying it was Microsoft and that I had been hacked. They wanted to access my computer. I received the same type of call. His name was Samson. When I told him I wasn't near my computer, he asked me where I was. I knew it was a scam right from the beginning but wanted to see what I could find out about them. The initial call I received was from a robotic voice asking me to call back. That number was from 1-607-289-3811from Cortland, NY
