I just got a call from this number and it was American Express Fraud Division calling with a genuine fraudulent charge. I, like the commenter before me, always call the 800 number on the back of the card to insure I'm actually talking to American Express.

Called 2x today, said I had a possible fraudulent charge. Asked for my account number, said no...asked for last 4 digits and ss#. Said no, called the #on back of card. Did have fraud. charge, card cancelled. IF in doubt call the 800#on the back of your card....
