they call about 4 times a day, only let it ring twice and noone there when I answer......start calling as early as 800am......harrassement for sure and told them that the one time I did talk to them.....they NEED to stop
Dozens of calls from this number, despite repeated requests to identify themselves and state the purpose of the call, they refused saying only that it was a personal matter and that they would call back. No messages ever left and they would call up to 4 times a day any time from 8am to 10pm. After they reported me to the police for threatening them (!) the last caller stated they were from Capital One calling on behalf of Hudsons Bay Company.
I then filed a formal complaint with the CRTC and sent a profanity filled letter to HBC along with my cut up card and a cheque for payment in full to close my account.
Capital One and Hudsons Bay will never get another cent from me due to their unethical, unprofessional and perhaps even illegal methods. What kind of company harasses their own customers to the breaking point and then plays the victim when those customers get mad? Thanks for the call from the Toronto Police Service this morning, Capital One and Hudsons Bay, awesome way to do business.
They did call me and ask me to punch some number why I was on the phone with them. It was so unprofessional, and consider it as a scam. I called back the number and they ask me to provide my credit card number. It's all bullshit! !
Started getting daily(sometimes multiple daily) calls from this number. There is never a message left, but if this HBC, they need to stop. I've only had this phone # for a little over a month, and I have NEVER had credit with them. I don't use credit cards period. If they can't leave a message, they best not expect me to answer to this #, or call it back!
If anyone does by chance talk to someone trying to collect on fraudulent account info, ask them first to provide their personal i.d. registration #. Anyone working for collections that is legit, must be trained and registered for them to legally place these calls for companies and collect on their behalf. Most times when you ask, they get flustered and confused and end up hanging up on you, because they're some poor young person employed at a call centre, and getting paid by commision. They don't know that what they're doing isn't legal.
I got two calls Saturday morning 1 hour apart. No one was there when I answered. The first call came at 8:25 AM
