I just received a call from this number with the same claim as being with DirectTV/ATT and reducing my bill to $59.99 per month for the next 2 years. I would receive a code that I would need to use and pay (over the phone) the first 5 months bill. When I questioned him about the phone number he is calling me on as being a scam he hung up the phone. English was not his first language, sounded more like he was from India.
Delay in answering after I answer the phone.
Claims to be with AT&T / DirecTV and wants to offer me a discount on my monthly satellite bill. The first time I received this call, I called DirecTV to verify that they are not outbound calling their customers. They assured me they are not and would not make outbound calls.
I just received another call (different 800 number) with the same claim.
