(800) 388-2200

This is a total scam. They keep calling on a google voice number that I only use for the internet. It's not listed on anything personal, it doesn't have my name on it anywhere. I've never had a citi card (not even a gas card, which many are backed by citi), i've never had a citi bank account (personally, I hate citibank and would never use them for anything).

fortunately, google voice allows you to block numbers where they get a message saying 'number you called is not in service).. this particular number was going directly into google voice spam folder (so obviously google knows is a scam).. now that I've blocked the number completely, It won't even go in there.

more proof it's a scam.. since they're calling on a google voice number, and not my landline which is used for everything I do including banking.. and is unlisted with my name and address right in the phone book.. what more proof does anyone need?

they kept asking to me to call back this number and then they asked me all personal info SSID number and card number etc... then I asked question back and they didn't answer and got upset.... SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!

This number calls about 10 times a day. Claiming we owe money to citi bank. Total b******t.

Constantly receive calls from this number on my mobile and home numbers and each time its an automated call that hangs up when you answer.

Citi scam. Wanted my to enter social or cc number. Did not and spoke to a person who hung up on me when I questioned them. Call came from a 859 number-the wanted me to call 1-800-388-220

THIS # CALLED ME AS WELL TO INFORM ME THAT I WAS PAST DUE ON MY PAYMENT AND WANTED MY INFORMATION. I LOOKED AT MY ONLINE BANKING AND IT WAS PAID 8 DAYS PRIOR TO THE PHONE CALL ELECTRONICALLY. THIS IS A SCAM AND WHEN I RETURNED THE PHONE CALL I ASKED THEM FOR THEIR FEDERAL TAX # WHICH EVERY SINGLE US BUSINESS MUST HAVE TO OPERATE AND I WAS SHUFFLED TO 2 OTHER PEOPLE AND A MID-EASTERN GUY SAID HIS SUPERVISOR COULDN'T FIND IT. I TOLD THEM EACH BUSINESS MUST HAVE THAT # ON THEIR FINANCIAL INFORMATION AND HE HUNG UP ON ME. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM......

Scam - SCam - SCAm - SCAM Someone explain why the federal government allows this theft operation to continue. Citi Corp is aware this is a criminal operation, but the legal system has little interest in protecting US Citizens. It's cheaper for Citi Corp to ignore the situation and pay back the few who get scammed then deal with legal costs of prosecuting these thieves... Only in America...
Citi Corp will only call a customer from a posted 1-800 number, never someone's house/retail business phone.

Getting calls from this number day and night for a while now! Mostly they ring and don't say anything and hang up others are a pre-recorded message for me to call them about my account with Citi-cards! Now I do have a account with Citi Cards and I called them, the no. on my statement and the woman told me that my account with them is alright and paid and that it is not them that these calls are coming from! So that must mean that who ever is calling me and harrassing me is falsely representing them selves as Citi Cards and bank!

So this has to be a scam to get your money. Someone in my house has a health problem and they are constantly harassing us! This is against the law, how can they get away with this!!!!! I will report them to FTC, Attorney General and others! I had a crooked, fake? Mortgage company doing this to me before these con-artists started calling me and I never owe them any money!!!! And I reported those Crooks and now this! CAN ANYBODY PLEASE GIVE ME THE NAME OF A GOOD LAWYER WHO HANDLES THESE TYPE OF HARRASSMENT CASES I WOULD APPRECIATE IT!!!!!!!!

Calling about an account I don't have.

I was getting calls twice a day from (816) 420-4002 instructing me to call (800) 388-2200 regarding my City Card. I called the 800 number, did not push any buttons (including the press one for English) and was connected to a person. She asked for my card number and I told her I was a bit suspicious and would provide her with my phone number that they were calling twice a day. She was able to look up the information and asked for my name--I told her my first name and she said they were trying to reach and other people. She said it was common with cell phone numbers and they will stop calling me.

This seems to be a scam. Do not give out any more info than your phone number (which they obviously have) and name.
