Got a call from 1-800-421-2110 from “Bank of America Fraud Dept” which was a scam ! They told me I had a charge of $329.63 at CVS in NC, they had parts of a SS # and new I had a positive balance on my account. Told them I didn’t feel comfortable continuing as they wanted the full CC No, I told them I will call the BofA CC company myself !! B of A could not vertify any of that info - so SCAM !!

Called to say someone from TX opened a BofA account in my name. They had the last 4 digits of my SS and one acct.number, said they were from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and gave the number 800-421-. They had Asian accents and wanted to provide a debt consolidation plan. They had info on my balances and supposed interest rates.

This phone number showed up on a credit report inquiry as BofA. I did not apply for credit. Watch out!

They called 07/01/21. No VM. I checked out the number here and see it is a scam as I suspected. Thank you! I blocked it.

I live in Canada and my number is a business, not personal one. I don't have a credit card, let alone a Bank of America one. I have not been to the USA since before 09/11/ Third call today and the caller hangs up and does not speak

Unknown caller; left no message; assumption: either a wrong number or a telemarketer. Have own experience with BofA! They secretly closed my account but continued accepting my deposits, and then bounced my check to renew my license plates. Now, who is going to be believed here? BofA or the 'Wacky hick from the sticks? With the help of the Comptroller General I got most of my money back! Titles DO matter in our Feudal Society! Joe

Got call on my land phone claiming to be from bank of America wanting information on my credit cards to lower interest. Gave me couple of numbers ending i number 4 i didn't havethat he abruptly hung up.
