I had missed the call, came up on my cell as possible Scam, called back to see number came up as Bank of America. Did search of number and found this web-page.

It is a fake Bank of America telephone number.

Silence, then hung up on me

An endless cycle of mindless harrassment.

Claimed to be from my credit card company and wanted to lower my rates. They didn't know what credit cards I had and wanted me to give them the expiration date, 16 digit number on the front of the card starting with a 4, and the 3 dig io t code on the back. I gave the SOB 12/25 for the exp. date, 4867-5309-0911-0420, and 789 for the code on the back. He was not smart enough to figure out it was fake until the 4th time of me repeating this info, then he told me to F*ck off...lol

Claims to be with Bank of America and wanted me to open a credit card. This is obvious fraud since I already have 2 accounts with BOA!

They called me. wanted to lower my credit card rates. I said I had no need to do so since I paid them off monthly...they hung up on me. obviously , NOT Bank of America.

Masquerade as bank of America

Yeah, I got a phone call from Bank of America, I usually don't pick up and let the answering machine screen my calls but I pick up. First and automated voice Alice, next to an agent (I guess) to lower my interest rate on my credit card and with the song and dance routine - wanted to know which credit card Visa or Mastercard - they have the information why do I have to tell them. The agent had an accent from India and I'm already suspicious! No way and hunged up.

This number is actually a customer service number for Bank of America. There must be someone using it in a SCAM somehow. It is the number that is on the back of the Bank of American credit card as their customer service number.

"To fix my credit card account" asks for card number or S.S. number. Scam.
