Just to clarify, the number - 800-421-2110 - is the customer service number listed on the back of Bank of America credit cards and is a legit number. It has been spoofed to make fraudulant calls representing "Card Services". The caller starts out by stating he is calling to lower your interest rates because you have paid your bills on time. He then begins to phish for you credit card number and SSN. BEWARE! While the number is legit, Bank of America does not use this number to contact you, rather it is a number they use for it's customers to contact them. Best advise, always ask questions. ei... Which account are you calling about? Have them give you information first before giving any in return, the caller will most likely hang up. Cheers.

Just received a call from this # and I told him to stop calling me, I don't have a credit card and I have repeatedly pressed 2 to be removed from list, plus I am on a Don Not Call list! This JackA** called me 3 times from a # 337-578-4556 with the Name Betty Veeder and told me to go ahead and call the authorities on him, then again the same the second time and the third he went into a threating manner, asking me what am I going to do, and I can't have anything done to him, but he can have something done to me. BEWARE!

Yup, I just got the same robo call, then transferred to a rep. He then said that he could lower interest rates. I asked for what cards. He gave me a list and ask if I had a mc or visa? It sounded as if he did not really have my info, and of course from a different overseas sound to it. I felt it was a scam, and asked for the number that I could call back because I don't know who they are, either they give me a number or I won't take advantage of the "lower rate offer"
they called from 252 449 3262. They gave me 800 421 2110 as a call back number. I googled it and found this site. I think my next call is to Price Law Group, APC 800 884 6000 which is a consumer protection law firm.

Called wanting my account number to lower my interest rates. I knew it was a scam so I acted interested and when I asked what was needed to move forward he kept on asking for my act number and wouldn't answer my question as to everything he needed before I answered. He then got Irate and,I laughed at him and hung up. I called the 800 number he gave me, which is different from the number he called from and it claims to be BOA and when you don't give your account number it hangs up. SCAM

Phishing scam that starts with robocall about interest rates, then some guy comes on the line and wants your card number. No legitimate card company (even BoA) is going to call and ask for your full 16 digit account number.

"Credit card, last chance, to lower rates." Demanded my credit card number. Stated he represented "Card Services" affiliated with BoA. Gave address: 25 business park ave, atlanta, georgia; call back number 800-421-2110. Gentleman had Indian accent.

Got a call today asking for me to press 9 for important info about my credit card account . I did and got a man with a mid eastern accent saying that he was with Mastercard and would give a lower rate that my bank would on my existing accounts.
He asked me to verify my card number starting with ....... and he gave me the first few numbers, saying that he had the whole number but needed me to verify it. I did not give him anything and asked for a return number which he gave as 800 421 2110.
