Received call from Jason Gomes. He stated he was calling from the verification department for the Yellow Pages. He already new our business # and address. He wanted to verify the information. After I verified the information about 5 times I then had to listen to a recording and answer YES to the questions. The recording was very hard to understand....as was Jason. I was able to make out the $39.95 a month and I interrupted the recording which sent me back to Jason. He said that this call is not "approving' the charge but just letting us know that they would be mailing information which my boss would have to sign and send back. I then gave the phone to my boss and she listened for a few seconds and hung up. Jason called back about 10 minutes later and I had to go throught the "$!&*" again. Once we finally hung up for good I called back to 800-430-4300 and did not get answer. So I googled the # and referenced this website. I am to the point that if a Indian speaking person calls I will immediately hang up.

People calling claiming to be updating info for the Yellow Pages are attempting to get you to sign up for something in which they will charge you a $9.95 set up fee & $39.95 a month. They have called my place of employment multiple time & to no avail will not remove our number. I just called AT&T Yellow Pages & they confirmed they are not aware of such calls. Please do not give your info to these people. They all sound as if they are from India.
