I've had the same phone twice now. He says his name is Jim Smarting but he has a heavy middle eastern accent. Claims to be from Windows Security Center, a company called I Tech out of North Carolina. He wants me to get on my PC so he can prevent me from being hacked. He gets very defensive the more I ask questions. The phone number he gives me to call them back is 1-800-438-1859. I'm afraid if I get on my PC while on the phone with him, he will put a virus on the computer then charge me to remove it. I think this is a scam.

Received a call from "Frank Martin" at 1-800-438-1859 who called to say he was from Windows Security Center and that he was seeing on his reports that my computer had been "hacked". He advised me to turn on my PC and he was going to walk me through the steps I needed to rid my computer of the "infracted" files that had been hacked "into" my computer. When I asked who he worked for they stated Windows Security Center. When I asked if he worked for Microsoft he stated he worked for Windows Security Center. I refused to do as he asked letting him know I was onto his game and I hung up. He continued to call and harass each member of my family two more times. I believe this is a scam.
